I'm a panda... white and black and furry-looking! A panda always eats, shoots, and leaves (you'll have to ask me to explain that one :) ). Actually, I was given my nickname by some friends who had a hard time remembering how to pronounce my last name. I have been "Chanda Panda" for 6 whole years... some of my friends NEVER call me by my first name (and that includes my future husband :-) ). On January 3, 2009, I am going to relinquish my current last name for a new one, and marry my best friend-- the wonderful man that God made for me!! We are excited to see how the Lord will use our lives together!

A Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

So... it's been a long time since I've posted (so sorry, all three people that read my blog! :) ). A LOT has happened... will try and catch up gradually. I will post pics of our Christmas program, which by all accounts was a smashing success! It was called "Out of Touch in the Inn" and was written by the staff of Faith Christian Academy in Wautoma. :o) Our extension team from NBBC did an incredible job, even though they were "pressed into service", so to speak, and our school kids were incredible as well! They did a great job with their music and their acting, and I'm pretty sure the message of the program got across. My Dad was one of the stars of the show, as he was very convincing as Reuben, the rabbi. I thoroughly enjoy drama! :)

Christmas was good... my Mom's side of the family came over, which was enjoyable. We did have a "white" Christmas, sort of... just a little bit of snow on the ground. :) My favorite Christmas present? Jumper cables for my car!!!!! :) Does that surprise anyone? ;) Cutest present: another "prince charming" frog... unfortunately, he did not turn into a handsome prince when I kissed him. Oh well. ;o)

Highlight of Christmas break was definately visiting my dear friend Sara in Minneapolis. :) We had a great time together and had several adventures, including the Mall of America, the dentist, and a wedding rehearsal. Very, very fun.

We go back to school tomorrow... yay for the second half of the school year! I am "homework-less" for another week and a half, but on the 14th I head to Northland for the "Cross-Cultural Communication" graduate class. I am looking forward to taking the class and soaking up info on other cultures (not to mention socializing :) )!!!!

Well, I will post pictures when I get a faster internet connection!

Blessings!
